Nice hotel, great location, decent service, terrible security. I was staying on the 15th floor and went to walk down the stairs to use the vending machines on the 15th floor. I ran into several homeless people sleeping in the stair well. Where was security? This is a first tier hotel, with equivalent rates. This lack of security is frightening. more

We stayed here for 5 nights in July 08. We were on the 18th floor with a great view of the Sound. Everything is within walking distance and you can take advantage of the free bus in the downtown area...this made life much easier after a long day of exploring. We stayed at this hotel with our two young sons for two nights in July. The hotel is very central to most of what you'd want to see in downtown Seattle. This is a good hotel for the price. The staff was friendly. The girl provided me a free upgrade upon check in because they did not have any more rooms available at my rate of about $120 per night from Hotwire. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
