After missing our flight in Philadelphia I tried frantically tcalled my wife and asked her to try and get us an airport hotel at PHL. She quickly got on PL and bid $95 for a 3* hotel, hoping I would get the airport Marriott (since their lowest rate was $269). Much to my dismay (only initially) they 'upgraded' me to... more

Just returned from a one day stay at the Renaissance Philadelphia Airport. What can I say? This hotel was a total surprise. Great staff and attitudes at check-in, wonderfully, spacious, well-appointed room, large, immaculate bathroom, great shower, comfortable bed with choice of pillows, great workspace. I totally surprised! The staff in both the lounge (which serves full-course dinners as well)... more

I booked this hotel through priceline.com for $72 a night. I feel I got a pretty good deal. This hotel is not dirty. It is not unsafe. It is however in need of a renovation, and does not carry same quality that most upper level Marriott hotels carry. Bottom line: if you get a good deal on this place, you'll... more

This is one of the dirtiest Marriott properties I have ever stayed in. The room smelled bad, carpet was filthy, mold in the shower, and it was extremely dark. I guess they thought by keeping it dark that you wouldn't be able to see the dirt! more

I had the opportunity to stay at the Renaissance Philadelphia Airport Hotel in early August 2007 on business. What a great stay! The room I had was on the 8th floor, and it had an exceptional view. The room itself was smartly appointed and decorated, spotless, and very warm and inviting. I also had the opportunity to have two meals... more

Stayed here three nights for a business conference. Technically speaking it is close to Philadelphia International Airport but what they don't tell you is that it is located right next to one of the active runways. This basically means you will hear jets take off and land all day and all night. While they do offer a complimentary shuttle service... more

Booked on priceline for $65 for a Friday night. Front desk staff was very friendly and they gave me a very nice room. Bed, sheets, and pillows were soft and wonderful. Room is older style but still elegant. I parked my car at the hotel and took the shuttle to and from the airport. Parking is $50 for a week.... more

Stayed here one night (August 4) because of a family emergency. Got the senior rate of $110 which is a decent but not outstanding value. We had stayed at this property on 5 or 6 previous occasions, always on week-ends and have generally been satisfied with it. The room--on the 9th floor-was clean, fresh-smelling and what we wanted. There was... more

We came down early for our weekend in Philly and deliberately stayed at this hotel we love it so much. We've been here numerous times prior to flights out of the airport but this trip, instead of paying twice for a downtown hotel we decided that we would leave late Friday, have a lesiurely dinner, go to the pool then... more

No complaints, was treated extremely well at every step. A lot of freebies in the room, and was upgraded to Conscierre Floor which was awesome. Food in bar/restaurant was excellent and I highly recommend if you need a 1-2 nighter near the airport. BTW about 5 minutes from Harrah's Casino, the closest hotel to the casino and racetrack!!!!!!!! more
