I went to Philly for a quick, overnight visit to see the Frida Khalo exhibit....booking this place on Priceline for $90 bucks plus tax. A good deal for a very decent hotel. Not far from the historical sites. I had phoned prior to going, requesting a double room, but was told there was no record of a request at check-in.... more

We pricelined this room for $100. The Hyatt was presented well, the rooms were nice, the location was great, however we were not impressed with customer service or hotel policies. Reception is snobby and Hyatt tries to charge for basically every possible amenity that you'd normally get for free at other luxury hotels -- e.g. $25 for a room on... more

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a Friday night in March. Since it is within walking distance a lot of nightlife on South Street we like to be able to go out bar-hopping and not have to worry about driving anywhere. Booked on the hotel website, if you look at specials they usually have great rates for weekends in... more

Stayed on Saturday night in April. Paid $330 a night, and thought it's pricy. If you want to a water front room, it's $30 extra. I gave up that luxualy, however, the view from the room 1512 was facing to river and it was fantastic! Had lunch at their restaurant since this hotel is somewhat isolated on its location. Crabcake... more

Philly is an odd city to start with, sprawling, industrial, old, a bit scary. This hotel, although modern enough, is quite isolated from the city. It has but one restaurant, a shop the size of a closet and little to distinguish it from any other road warrior command center. The river is interesting, but not in a natural way, sort... more

We loved the location and view from our room at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing. The room was well presented and the beds quite comfortable. One minor negative was that it was difficult to get directions or suggestions from the staff. more

Just returned from a short overnight stay at the Hyatt Penns Landing. Thanks to previous reviewers, I bid $70 on Priceline - with tax it came to about $88.00. Extra charges that I incurred were $10 for internet and valet parking was $27. I requested and received a water view with two beds. Also, ask for a high floor, otherwise... more

Husband and I enjoyed the Hyatt the Saturday before Easter. Got a great rate on Priceline ($70). Was able to check in early 12 pm with ease after parking in the self park lot at $21 a night. Very professional staff. Extremely clean, updated and fresh. Requested a king with a river view and was given a comfortable king facing... more

Typical corporate hotel experience: bland, clean rooms and professional service. Hotel security was also reasonably prompt in breaking up a group of drunken revelers noisily celebrating in the hallways at four am. If your room is high enough (and faces the right direction), the views of the city are great. But what sets the hotel apart is its location, which... more

I actually had planned to meet with a friend in from IN and wasn't sure if I too would be staying at hotel - but given that it was shaping up to be a late night - I walked in day of and had no problems booking a room. I called ahead and found out from conceirge that new room... more
