Our family stayed here for a night prior to the Flower Show. The hotel is very close to the Franklin Institute, Academy Of Natural Sciences and the Convention Center. We requested early check-in and we received our room early as requested. The rooms are large with a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was avg to small. The room was cold... more

I just stayed at this hotel for a quick trip and to check out the city. The hotel is located not far from the museums and is easily accessible to the downtown area. In fact I walked to shopping, restuarants and the theater area. The hotel is undergoing a renovation but when I checked in I was given one of... more

Hotel is in a good location. It's about a five minute walk from the Convention Center and Reading Terminal Market. Positives: * room was very clean * bed was comfortable * one of the largest hotel closets I've ever seen * sofa had a pullout bed * balcony * kitchen suite was helpful * very friendly staff * free breakfast... more

This hotel is an Embassy Suites. That name used to mean quality to me. I am a frequent traveler and have enjoyed ES establishments in the past. However, I took my family to this Philadelphia property and was appalled at the condition of the rooms. The bedroom door was missing chunks of wood from it as though it had been... more

We thank you for your feedback and apologize for the inconveniences that you have experienced. We are very excited about the progress of our renovation of all of our guest rooms, fitness center and the addition of a new business center to our hotel. The renovation is scheduled for completion by mid-April 2008. We have committed to embark on this...

I have just completed a second 3-day stay at this property and maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, but I fail to see anything woefully outdated about the hotel. No...it's not new, and the architechtural style of the building does make that evident. However, the suites are absolutely huge and very clean. The living area has a... more

Hotel location good. Hotel itself is due for gutting. Finding rooms on each floor, even though they are all, within paces of each other is extremely confusing. This is due to the circular building architecture. Aside from that the rooms are large but dirty. My bathroom sink was missing the drain plug and sink was not cleaned upon my arrival... more

Room was very nice - not outdated. I agree that the elevators were very slow but not a problem for me. Location was important and this hotel was central to the places I wanted to visit. more

I stayed in the Embassy Suites Philadelphia for a friend's wedding in Sept. 2007. I enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay in the hotel again. First off, previous posters are exactly right when pointing out that the hotel is a bit dated. The elevators are slow and the room furnishings (bathrooms, kitchen) aren't brand new. However, Embassy Suites appears... more

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Philadelphia Embassy Suites. The hotel is very comfortable and welcoming. It is in a great location to visit the museum section of Philly, the Art museum and Franklin Institute. If you want to be in the heart of the historic section with independence hall, you might want to stay closer... more

I just stayed there over the weekend with five other girls and no doubt it was scary... First we had to sign saying we wouldn't have any parties in our room. I think the party had just left right before we checked in. I believe we had the room that they forget to remodel. Everything was worn out and dated.... more
