My husband and I stayed here for two nights before heading up to the Poconos for a week. Overall, we had a nice stay. We paid with Starpoints so I can't make a comment on a value aspect. The hotel is in a great location convenient to the Old City historical district (where there is a great bar and restaurant... more

This is a very nice place to stay if you want to be near Independence Park. I do wish hotels would just give all the rooms free internet access, but the computers downstairs were free and near the elevators. Our tub drained very slowly and had mildewed the shower curtain, but someone came up and took care of that (we... more

Very nice facility. The neighborhood right around the hotel is quiet but easy walking distance to restaurants and Independence Park. Parking at the hotel is expensive, but there's a city owned garage a block away that's cheaper. Computers with one hour free internet for guests in the lobby was convenient. more

Stayed here for 2 nights and was very happy. The room was clean, big and comfortable. Nice bathroom. The location is excellent, within walking distance of all the main attractions e.g. Independence Hall, Liberty Bell etc. Highly recommended. more

We stayed at the Sheraton Society Hill from Saturday, April 12th through Tuesday, April 15th and paid $60/night plus 4,000 Starwood Points. Parking was around $25/day on the weekend & $28/day during the week with in & out privileges. We never moved our car the whole time we were there as it was so convenient to everything. When we wanted... more

The public areas of this hotel were very beautiful, although the rooms themselves looked a little worn - i.e., a cracked, repaired soap dish in the shower, and slightly scuffed furniture. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a great bridge view from our room. We booked through Priceline and got the room for $81,... more

I stayed here on a business trip recently. Its not the first time I have stayed here so its a recommendation that I was happy to come back. It was offering a very competitive rate which is why we chose it over the Omni, Marriott, Loews etc. which would also have been fine. The biggest positive is the location which... more

Worst hotel experience ever! They were doing construction in the room next to mine--retileing the bathroom. This was not a last minute fix-it job. The construction man said it had been planned for months. They woke me up with pounding on the wall above my bed. When I called the front desk they said no problem, they would tell them... more

The hotel was lovely but there are certain things I found unacceptable at this level. It seems petty to charge for internet service, for starters. The noise was also a problem--not the ballrooms, but simply the folks in the hall and next door. It was as if they were all right in my room with me. Even though the accomodations... more

Would definitely recommend this hotel, the staff was very accomadating, room overall clean and bigger than I expected. Room service was timely with the food, and even took time out to call and ask how my food was. Would definitely stay here next time I'm in town. more
