I attended a wedding in Philly and booked a room at the Sheraton University City Hotel. The lobby was beautiful and the desk clerk warm and friendly. She gave me a parking slip so that I wouldn't have to pay to park in their parking garage. I drive a SUV and found the garage to be very narrow and tight.... more

We are not happy with the hotel. The room was not clean at all, smells bad, stains everywhere and the wall paper is peeling. The furniture is chipped and the hotel in general is rough around the edges. We definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked my stay with the Sheraton, taking advantage of the government rate - which gave me a king bed room with access to the club floor - a happy hour in the evening I missed out on , but an excellent hot buffet breakfast (scramble eggs, bacon, sausage, frenchtoast, muffins, cereals) that actually saved my agency on Per Diem.... more

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small, but the shower is awesome. We slept well each night. The two chairs and foot stool were nice and comfy too. The decorating needs to be redone, many things are worn out. more

It was clean, comfortable and upscale. Though they knew we booked through a cheap agency, they treated us as nicely as their other customers. Though its a little out of the city, cabs were never a problem. And plenty within walking distance. more
