The reception area is quite run down and untidy. Rooms much better. Cleanliness ok, good beds, although narrow Queens. Could become a problem if they put you up with two adults and one child in such a room, as they did in our case. The hotel fit the bill for parking the car at the Philadelphia Airport while on our two week vacation. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient. The lot was not gated, but it was well lit and had numerous security cameras available. more

I am a Hilton Diamond member, and I stay at a lot of Hampton Inns. This one is near the bottom of my list. The room had all the Hampton amenities (free internet, new bed, etc.) but the bath and carpet were dirty and old. The bath drain had rust. The bathroom was also very small. Hampton Inn PHL is a decent airport hotel and I would stay here again. The bed was out-of-this-world comfortable. The large room and bathroom were a very welcome pair after a long flight from Europe. Easy to get to from the airport and freeway. Seemed that some people with points program had problems with "new staff".
