Booked this hotel while I was attending a conference at the Hilton NYC near by. They offer free wifi and a good breakfast in the mornings. I enjoyed the rooms and the location was great. Upon checkin they had me in a smoking room and I had requested a non-smoking room. A manager corrected the situation after about 5 minutes.... more

This hotel is well positioned in the Theatre district of Manhattan and close to various subway stations to allow you to travel to all parts of Manhattan. Hampton Inn Hotel - 51st and 8th Avenue. This hotel is just down the street from the theatres, not far from Central Park, about 2 blocks from the subway station on 50th St, and an easy walk to Times Square. They have security at this hotel, though I don't know if it's really needed, as this is a safe area.... more
