Hotel 41 was fantastic. An oasis of quiet and friendliness in Times Square. Located on 41st between 7th and 8th, it's not far from Penn Station or Times Square. The staff was helpful and friendly. Service minded staff, small but clean room, very close to the subway - no problem in going with subway from airport to the hotel. cleanliness, location and good price are the main thing here. Located at Times Square, the center of new york, a hub to any place you want to go in Manhattan. The room was very small but spotless, nice linen and pillows. The continental breakfast is good and enough to start the morning, very attentive staff, many of them speak English... more

I stayed here just before Xmas 2007, and found the hotel to be fantastic. Close to Times Square and the bus station, and within walking distance from Central Park and Macys. Yes, the rooms were on the small side (and i had been upgraded), but the facilities were clean and nice amenities - and who stays in their room anyway?... more

The room we had on the 3rd floor, was the smallest hotel room I've ever seen in my life!!!! BAR NONE!!!!!!! Having said that........they treated us wonderfully and had every amenity. Even had a nice Continental breakfast included in the price. The location is great, as you can walk anywhere and have access to many taxicabs as well. more

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and we loved it! They upgraded us to a superior room, the bed was comfortable, there was a small desk big enough for our laptop (with free internet), a small fridge, a safe, free bottled water and free breakfast (bagels, pastries, OJ and coffee). Our stay at Hotel 41 was a big dissapointment, ground floor very shabby, rooms where small, a fridge doubled as a bed side table, had little sleep due to noise throughout the night from refuse collectors and a busy distribution centre opposite. We could not see any wheelchair access and this was requested before our visit, but had no reply... more

This was our second trip to New York and also our second to Hotel 41. The rooms are small but beautiful. The location is amazing, the staff are helpful and polite, the breakfast adequate.
