I can unfortunately say that this is one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed at. Although as the name suggests the rooms are large but they are in desperate need of upgrading. I was on the second floor which meant every night i was woken up by noise from either street cleaning or construction so i had to... more

We were very happy we chose this property. Slightly contemporary motif, vs other embassy's we have been to. Nice decor. Very helpful staff. Location is important to think of here. you are close to the financial center and virtually right on the water. Also, right next to world trade center site. But if you want to be seeing things closer... more

The Embassy Suite Hotel was as expected - Excellent. The room and hotel were the usual great place to stay - good service - clean - friendly - etc, but we were concerned about walking around the area. We thought that being in the Financial District that at night it might be scary - Not at All. We walked around... more

We recently returned from a trip to pay homage to Yankee Stadium. Our home base was the Embassy Suites Hotel. I found the rooms to be very clean, bedding comfortable, and lots of room to move around. We were there for 3 days and ate breakfast at the hotel 2 of the 3 days. I can't say that the food... more

A waterfront two room suite in Manhattan with free breakfast and free drinks every night? It seems too good to be true, but it's not. We stayed here over Christmas 2004 and got a ridiculously cheap rate, I think $150 - surely it's much more now. We have also stayed at the Doubletree Times Square with HH points - I'd... more

Was in NY for two nights for business earlier this year. Wanted a good value near battery park. Embassy suites turned out to be a really good find. My only complaint that the location of my room in particular didn't lend itself to very good insulation of the room and I found the middle of the night a bit cold.... more

Finding a quiet room in Manhattan can be difficult, since it's a busy city. However, tucked away off a quiet street across from the river, you'll find the Embassy Suites. Coming from NJ, I could easily take the train and be home within an hour. I prefer to stay at Embassy, since it's clean, quiet, and spacious. The manager's reception... more

We loved our stay. We arrive and the bellman was right there to help us with luggage (we had a lot). Service was excellent. I asked if we could have a room with a view and they upgraded us. What would normally be an extra charge they waived. The breakfast was very good. A little crowded but the selections were... more

This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel in the last few years and the quality and service is very consistent! The rooms are very clean and spacious! The breakfast and nightly free drinks at the manager's reception is a HUGE plus!! I definitely recommend for anyone looking for exceptional value, great space and nice and clean rooms!! more

After reading several reviews (over 50) for places to stay in NYC, I was happy to see this one so highly rated. I took a chance and booked a room - first time in NYC. I just stayed there (June 7th). My flight was long and the taxi ride from the airport exhausting, so it was refreshing to be greeted... more
