I found the LA Quinta Mission Valley more than adequate for my 2 night stay in San Diego. It was clean, comfortable and we didn't experience any noise problems at all. We stayed in a double room facing the car sales yard next door. The complimentary continental breakfast offered each morning was a nice touch, with great selection of cereals,... more
This hotel is in a good location for the San Diego sites and right off a major freeway. We booked a two room suite for $99 night that was great, a little living room, kitchen area and bedroom seperate. There is not a door between the living room and bedroom however. We asked for a quiet room and crib for... more
On arrival, door lock broken, safe key missing, electricity in room a bit dodgy. On getting into bed my wife discovered the mattress and sheet heavly blood stained. Bedding changed immediately but should have been done when room cleaned. Loads of noise from the car sales and workshop next door, if booking ask for rooms away from garage. Breakfast, nightmare... more
We stayed at La Quinta on December 29, 2007. First, let me say it is in a GREAT location - a mall, retail stores, and quite a few restaurants are just across the freeway from the hotel. The negatives? The room was a little dowdy, a little worn looking. But we were on the bottom floor with someone above us... more
We just spent 7 nights at the LaQuinta. The room was extremely clean and we were happy to have the added convenience of a nice sized mini-fridge and a microwave. The TV was bigger than the ones we have at home, but we were a little disappointed that there were only 35 channels. There was a safe in the closet... more
We just checked in. We weren't expecting anything fancy ( when you're staying at a hotel a couple of miles from sea world for $100 a night & all the rooms open up to the outside, you shouldn't expect fancy), but although we've only been here a couple of hours, I'm already a little disappointed. We went to swim in... more
We (my boyfriend and I) stayed at the La Quinta San Diego- Mission Valley for two nights. We have enjoyed staying at La Quinta's in the past and got one night for $15 since I'm enrolled in the Returns program and have earned points for previous stays. Room: Average size, with fridge and microwave. My hair dryer seemed to have... more
Stayed on two weekdays at the end of August (~$89 rate one night. ~$109 second night, but later this rate was lowered to $89 on the web so we re-reserved and canceled previous). This place is about what most would expect for this type of extablishment. There were a few problems, but it was clean, safe, and a very reasonable... more
After a lot of research I settled on La Quinta based on reviews and price. I booked through Priceline a month ago for the busy Labor day weekend. Unaware that "accessible" room meant handicapped we asked if there was a way to get a regular room since neither my husband or I are handicapped. Of course they were completely filled... more
