I had never been to Boston. I cannot begin to tell what a home run this place is. From the moment I checked in, I was practically knocked over with niceness. Holli, the girl that took care of me at the front desk was super pleasant and accomodating. The room was UNBELIEVABLE. The bed was comfortable, the shower was strong... more

We were very impressed with this hotel. The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. The room was nicely decorated. There were some unnecessary big pillows on the bed but we just took them off. The staff was friendly and professional. The food at Brasserie Joe in the hotel was excellent as were the servers. The parking was pricey and... more

Stayed for 3 nights. Room as expected from photos on website, but bathroom smaller than it looks in the pictures. Comfortable bed with plenty of pointless cushions on top (but no more than a lot of other hotels - don't really understand the point of it, but then I'm not an interior designer) Only one bathrobe in room but another... more

This was our first trip to Boston. We spent 3 nights at the Colonnade and loved it. The location is perfect for access to Fenway, the T and shopping. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. The roof top pool is an added bonus. Unless you have an unlimited budget, I highly recommend this hotel and believe it is a... more

We stayed at the Colonnade because of it's close proximity to Northeastern University. It is also within walking distance to Fenway and the T stop is right outside the front doors. The rooms were small, but nice and modern. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are tiny and lacking counter space. There were no mirrors in the room other... more

Management response from

We're very sad to hear that you weren't thrilled with your recent stay! However, we're glad that you commented positively about the location, the plush pillow-top beds and the contemporary room design. Every guest room offers a floor length mirror in the bedroom in addition to the bathroom mirror and the make-up mirror. Our marble vanities were designed to offer...

The rooms are nice and comfortable. Maybe a little small but not too bad. Make sure that you press the button that tells the cleaning service do not disturb because I got awakened around 0800. It is a nice hotel if you don't mind spending money otherwise it isn't the best bang for your buck because it is not amazing.... more

We just stayed at the Colonnade for two nights with our tiny poodle and enjoyed it immensely! We were concerned because although we have a dog, we are allergic to fur. We were assigned a room on the 5th floor which is the "pet" floor and the rooms were so clean that we had no problems with our allergies at... more

It was one of the hotels recommended by the conference organizers. The location is great, close to almost anything you would need during your stay: CVS, restaurants(fast food and sit down), grocery store(across the street), shopping center(across the street), on Old Town Trolley route and Prudential subway station is right at the front entrance of the hotel making it really... more

I stayed at the Colonnade hotel with a group on business. As I understand, the hotel underwent a recent renovation and I thought it was beautifully done. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and the bathroom was just fantastic. Modern, but not too many gadgets or weird touches. I was staying in a room closest to the elevator, but it... more
