I stayed at one the Inn's self-catered apartments at 88 Caselli. We initially had a bit of a problem with double booking, but they were extremely apologetic and enabled an alternate arrangement for our first night. Once we got there, though, i was pretty impressed. For the price of decent HoJo or Holiday Inn (+/-$150) we had a whole apartment... more

we arrived after a long drive thru, what felt like, half of the US and were greeted warmly by Jan. He, David and Andrew made us feel like part of the family rather than like guests. Our room was comfy and sharing a bath was no problem at all (at least not for us). The castro itself was a great... more

I have stayed here several times and am always very happy with the property and the staff. The location is amazing, two doors north of Market and Castro, right in the heart of all the fun and near Muni. David, Andrew and Yon are all amazingly friendly and inviting The breakfasts were wonderful as well. The rooms are typical B&B... more

We have been staying at the Inn for nearly 20 years off and on. This has been one of the real memories that keep on floodling back. This is because the Inn is always so constant in the excelllent service and friendly atmosphere that greets you every time you stay. The rooms have been upgraded over the last few years... more

We arrived at the door only to be met warmly and were helped in with all our luggage. That was the beginning of a very pleasant, comfortable experience. The breakfast is pure enjoyment... a different table setting each day. They make the stay personal and caring. We will be back November 07. more

We recently stayed in one of the arpartments The Inn on Castro has. The apt., # 4, was lovely - bright, airy, with good views - and the noise level from the street was not bad. Can't comment on the breakfasts, because taking on of the apratments meant we were on our own for food - which was very nice... more

Spent a week here in Sept 2007. Great location - central to the Castro area. The staff were incredibly knowlegable and often went out of their way to help with places to go and restaurants to book. The rooms are a little small, but clean and bright. The breakfasts were huge and we saved money by not having to get... more

I stayed here for my 2nd time after receiving a recommendation from a friend. The Inn is less than 1/2 a block from the Castro Street Muni Station and "F" line trolley. Excellent breakfasts, nice roomy rooms. I'll be back again. more

This has to be one of the best bargains in SF. I visit this city fairly regularly and have stayed at a number of places in a variety of locations and this is one place I'll definitely return to. The Inn is small and located in the Castro district which could be best described as largely catering to the gay... more

We were in San Francisco for around 8 days in June and chose an apartment at Inn on Castro as we wanted slightly more room and the facilities to cook our own meals, and we were not disappointed. The apartment was spacious, airy and very homely. Kitchen had a huge gas hob/oven with all the utensils, pots pans and cutlery... more
