This is the perfect resort except for the beds. Even my children had complaints about how uncomfortable the beds are. The grounds are beautiful and the resort is nice. This was a relaxing paradise and would have been the best place I had ever stayed in if the beds were comfortable. The pool is lush and nice. there is a... more

We had just one night here. Lovely location, all rooms have balconies w/ ocean views. Nice dinner at '21' - would have preferred to try Ola's but it wasn't listed in the hotel's directory so we thought it was gone! Perhaps this is a good place if you surf or golf, but I was surprised at how quiet it all... more

Turtle Bay Resort is worth every penny. My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon and it was relaxing and beautiful. Every room has an ocean view, and our particular room looked out over the beach. The Resort includes two golf courses (which my husband enjoyed) and a day spa (which I would highly recommend). The service is efficient... more

I am a loal that lives here on Oahu and Turtle Bay is one of the only hotels that gives you an experince outside of the city (Waikiki), Waikiki is indeed fast paced and isn't as laid back as Turtle Bay Resort. We stayed here during the weekend. We rented out the Presidential Suite for 2 nights to host a... more

This was our second trip to Turtle Bay, and without the upgrade to the cottages, our trip would have been doomed. Last year we stayed in the deluxe ocean front rooms and the entire hotel seemed to be in great shape. This was not the case the second time around. Upon arrival and after check in we proceeded to our... more

We stayed at Turtle Bay with a large group with many families with young children. We had a wonderful time. The kids loved the pool and slide. Definitely get a room with ocean views. The beach was perfect for the young ones too. We happened to be there while "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" was being filmed which wasn't too intrusive. It... more

Spent 4 nights early July 08 in an oceanfront deluxe room. For the rates that you pay, this hotel is overated. Apparently, the hotel has had $35m in renovations but you'd never know it!! The rooms in the hotel are pretty ordinary, particularly given that the room cost more than what I paid for Sheraton Maui which was LOVELY. The... more

I pre-paid for our two nights at Turtle Bay. When I received my bill I had 2 charges of $20 as what they call a "resort fee". They say it covers parking, internet access, and tennis. We didn't use these. We had one car between two couples but both of us were charged the $40. I plan on disputing the... more

My husband, me and our 3 yo son just returned from a seven night stay at turtle bay resort. My husband and I consider ourselves seasoned travelers and have stayed at great hotels including many four seasons and ritz carltons so we were expecting a lot for 800.00/night. The cottages on the property were beautiful. I didnt see the other... more

I last visited Turtle Bay when it was a Hilton property back in the 80s. Considerable development of the area has gone on since then, and it now feels a bit hemmed in. While we were there, I read that the state is considering buying out the remaining developable land in the area to prevent additional development. We did not... more
