Although this hotel isnt for everybody, It has a great location, and great price for what it offers. The beach is a really nice one whether you like swimming, sunning, or snorkeling (although crowded later on in the day). The hotel also has a nice pool (one of the better ones on the island), though chairs can be scarce after... more

I don't care what any of the others who have stayed at the Sheraton say...this is truly one of the best places to stay on Maui! I speak from lots of experience as this was my 20th trip to Maui over the course of the past 33 years. I've stayed at most the properties up and down Kaanapalii beach and... more

Like another recent poster, we were in building four where the construction was occuring, but it didn't bother us at all, as we were rarely in the room. We did notice the tv was out, and we actually were comped by management for, I believe, the resort fee and valet parking. Oh, and a $15 dining certificate. So we're quite... more

We stayed at the Maui Sheraton for a week in June. We chose it because we have a 15 year old son who had never snorkeled before and were told it was the best snorkeling spot. We also were told by our travel agent it had a lot of kids. We really liked the hotel from the moment we arrived.... more

Our family stayed 8 nights. The Sheraton truly has in my opinion, the nicest nook of beach on Ka'anapali. The water is clean and clear, and we didnt have to go diving to find tropical fish or sea turtles. It only took a mask to look right under wherever we happened to be swimming. The turtles generally swim all around... more

Let me first say that the resort and the Ka'anapali beach are absolutely beautiful. The water is clear, and the Black Rock is unique to this property. Service in general was good too, but I did run into some issues. I stayed at Building 4, which was not much different from the other buildings except that construction work was going... more

We just returned from Maui and stayed at 3 seperate hotels during our time there. We started the trip off at the Sheraton and loved it! It's very peaceful and quite and the staff is very friendly. There are great activities for kids and families each day that do not cost extra, the pools were great, the beach was amazing,... more

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Maui from July 23-26th, 2008. We had a garden view room, but we still had a view of the ocean from our balcony. The room was very large and the bathroom large as well. We had the breakfast buffet the first day b/c we wanted to enjoy the resort, the buffet is... more

My wife an I stayed at the Sheraton Maui for our honeymoon for 6 nights beginning on May 25th. We used Starwood Points to reserve a junior suite. Upon arrival at the room with the bellman, we discovered a musty and mildew-like odor and immediately called the front desk. After politely letting the hotel management know of our situation, we... more

We stayed two nights, before moving to a private residence rental. We were at the farthest point of the resort, rooms 6102, 6103. The hotel was very accommodating regarding inter-connecting rooms, with children. We were suppose to have a deluxe oceanfront room. The room was oceanfront as long as you walked out your patio door and looked over the bushes.... more
