My wife and I honeymooned here for 5 nights at the end of January to the first of February. Well, first off, the hotel looks like a 2nd rate motel. Not very nice at all. I was very dissapointed in the rooms. The service was terrible. The first shower I took was all cold water! I mean freezing cold water.... more

This hotel is very nice. The grounds are immaculate and there is a nice pool. We had an ocean front room on the top floor (6th floor) the view was amazing and well worth having this type of room. It was useful to have a fridge and there is a coffee machine too. As we were there for part of... more

We just returned on 7/18/08 from 6 nights at Ka'anapali Beach Hotel in Maui. We had a partial ocean view room in the Lanai wing. We were impressed from day one with the beach. It was plenty wide and not rocky at all. The hotel property was never crowded. We felt there was plenty of space to lay out and... more

We've just gotten back from our six day stay at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel (KBH) and we're already trying to figure out when we can go back. It was our first trip to Hawaii and it was so much more than we ever expected; much of the credit for our wonderful experience goes to the amazing staff at the KBH.... more

I loved the KBH. TheY coordinated my wedding on the sand. It came with the Minister, hula dancer, photographer, prints & fresh flower leis. We had the ocean front room on the 1st floor & walked right out from our patio onto the lawn & just a sidewalk away from the sand. The staff was wonderful. They gave us champagne... more

Just returned from 9 nights stay at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Husband and I and 17 year old son. This was our worst vacation stay ever. We travel 3 times a year and have always stayed at the Hilton, Marriott, or Fairmont Hotels. Read lots of reviews on TA before we booked. I would have to agree with a lot... more

The Ka'anapali Beach Hotel is not the 'nicest' resort on Ka'anapali Beach but I think it is the best place to stay for the money. During this trip we also stayed at the Hyatt down the road and ventured into some of the other hotels. While the Ka'anapali Beach does not have the amenities (fancy multi-level pools, restaurants, spa services,... more

Overall good experience at KBH. Great location between Black Rock and Whaler's Village. Pool is very accomodating for young children with 40% of pool 2-3 ft deep. Check in was okay, had to wait till 3:30pm. Clean rooms, grounds, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms: Had ocean front room 5th floor in Kaua'i wing. Great view of sunsets, better sunsets on... more

My husband and I got married at KBH in April 2008 and we stayed there for our 2-week honeymoon afterwards. We found all of the staff to be extremely welcoming and friendly. Everyone from the valets, bus boys, waitresses - everyone was very nice. The wedding coordinator was very helpful during our wedding planning process. The grounds are maintained to... more

I booked the KBH about 9 months in advance. It was our honeymoon and I spent hours reading all of the reviews and still was very hesitant about staying there. I did not want to fall into the same situation as some of the other writers who got a non-updated room or got stuck in a gloomy part of the... more
