We were looking for a special place to celebrate a reunion with old friends and were fortunate to find The River House. Being from big cities, we were looking for an upscale but comfortable place to stay in a small and unique country town. Boy-we found the perfect place in the most "European" small town in the USA! River House is a wonderful accomodation in historic Castroville, Texas. It is a three bedroom home located in the Historic District and has a sloping lawn down to the Medina River.
