The sheer mixture of reviews on here suggest that the Grand is great or poor and not much in between. The hotel is in the middle of a huge refurb, having the rooms and the public areas upgraded. It is aiming to rank it's standards to 5*, and my experience is that the refurbed areas are on the way there... more

The Jersey Grand is sold on it's website as a piece of history.The added facilities are given considerable prominence.
