I have stayed at Lanteglos a number of times. The rooms in the hotel are good, well equipped and have up to date services such as whirlpool baths, satellite TV and, this year, wiFi access. The food is good (both table d'hote and bar meals), the public rooms are well appointed and the welcome is warm and genuine. more

We stayed in one of Lanteglos's Villas and had a very relaxing holiday. A very Tranquility location with great freedom for our children to play in the grounds safely. I watched the world cup rugby and cricket 20/20 on the sky sports TV while our children played in the wooded play area and grounds. Thats what I call a holiday!... more

Booked a cottage suite for 2 nights, and left after one night. Damp, dirty and very very out of date with uncomfortable beds and fabric headboards which were not very clean. Stayed in a cottage for two nights. Considering other reviews I've read, I was surprised how musty and outdated the furnishings were. The mold/mildew smell was overpowering even with the windows opened. I realise the property is old but for £360 for two nights I would have expected the room to be much nicer (and cleaner.)
