Booked this on the grounds of price - then read reviews and was really worried. It is not on the hotel hoppa route from heathrow so works out very expensive - 1st taxi trip was 20 pounds - return 12.50. Staff were lovely especially in the bar. Rooms just about ok - very battered and we had a long walk... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for just one night as we went to see England v Barbarians at Twickenham. After reading the reviews we were quite worried about staying, however it wasn't as bad as we expected. The service at Reception was excellent. The room was a standard, large double, nothing special but ok. We did hear... more

As with the other comments - it sounds like you are sleeping actually at the airport on the runway. Aswell as this, the room walls are paper thin, so we were woken up by next door's alarm call at 3am. It sounded like it was in our room. Not needing to get up until 5 ourselves this was extremely irritating.... more

I stayed at the Master Robert on the night of January 20th, 2007. If you would like the feeling fo sleeping on a runway then stay here. Besides being very close to the airport, there is nothing else to this hotel. The noise is unbereable, the service appaling. 1 Pound for 10 minutes of Internet? See through towels (literally, you... more

Room was old and in a poor state of repair. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The noise insulation in the room was non existant and the hotel is directly under heathrow flight path. If you want a quick easy hotel prior to flying or post flight then this hotel will suffice otherwise give this hotel a wide berth. more

I seen some of these reviews before I went, wish I had taken more notice!! I stayed here for a long week, place has not atmosphere. My room was one of the 70's pontin chalets, roomy but unsecure, no double glazed which I needed from 4:30 I thought we were at war, the planes flew over me room, sure they... more

It's a little bit like Butlins in the 1970's, the decor leaves a lot to be desired. Having stayed in a number of the rooms they all need updating. It's functional but one note of caution the sausages are rank and if you don't know what rank means perhaps the expression "They suck" would sum it up. They are the... more

I've tried many hotels in this area, and this has to be the worst. Although the decor in the room was good, the location of the hotel make this one of the noisest hotels I've EVER stayed in. It is in the middle of the approach path to Heathrow and it sounds as if you are sleeping in the middle... more

Booked 2 rooms for one night via Octopus Travel. Paid £97.00 in total for bed and continental breakfast. Could have paid £4.00 each in the morning for the full cooked deal, but the continental breakfast was more than enough. Double room was huge, twin was better than average. Tea/coffee in rooms and toiletries in bathroom. Food in restaurant very nice.... more

Stayed here with two young daughters, checked in at 1am exhausted to be told by Geoffrey the rude grumpy night porter that he did not :do" luggage so the female taxi driver helped me with my children and 6 cases to the back of the "motel". Room was clean, spacious but dated. We were so tired that had no problems... more
