We arrived at Darlington Beach Resort to find the biggest caravan sites in Australia. You were about two normal sites apart from the van next to you & you surrounded by beautiful bigs trees giving you the feeling you were in the middle of the bush. We had an ensuite site, which was well appointed, the only complaint they needed... more

We don't have places like this in the U.S.----sort of a combination resort, campground, caravan park, and trailer park. There are permanent mobile homes (an oxymoron if I ever heard one), along with the pool, the golf course, the vacationers, etc. Not to mention the peacocks and the rest of the birdlife. But I digress..... We really enjoyed this place.... more
