I just returned from a week stay at the Hampton Inn Hickory, NC. The hotel is clean and staff are nice. However there is no elevator so request a first floor room if you don't want to hike it. Staff tells me they are moving to a new location in Hickory soon. more

I was not thrilled with the Hickory Hampton Inn. I found the staff not very helpful on my arrival, being distracted by ringing phone lines and rather grumpy in general. My room was small. We were lucky to get this room upon leaving the original motel we had booked due to problems. The beds were exceptional and had extra pillows (always a plus).The continental breakfast was very good-well supplied with everything. The room was very clean. We slept like babies! more

A very nice, resonably priced Hotel. Very clean, very nice beds and a very helpful staff. Manager gave us directions to Ocean Isle Beach. Breakfast was surprisingly good - fresh fruit, eggs, etc. more

I am a very picky hotel guest and this was a very clean and up to date place to stay. The room was newly remodeled and had a duvet cover on a down comforter opposed to the scratchy old comforters that never get washed in most places.
