Dont worry about some previous reviews. My wife and I stayed here after attending an event locally, and the staff was literally tripping over themselves to help us out. The hotel mainly caters to a corporate and wedding clientele, but for travelers like us we hardly noticed. The location was ideal for us and the property was beautiful. The room... more

We got a $45 rate on Priceline for 3 nights, so the total was only about $150 after tax. This was the only positive thing about the stay. It seems like the hotel keeps the outside, lobby, and restaurant in good shape to attract people for weddings, banquets, and meetings. It appears that the money spent on the renovation of... more

This hotel was okay - the rooms were nice, and for the internet price we booked for two nights, it was adequate. We left with the impression that the hotel was understaffed and had deferred maintenance issues for a building of its size. Service was an issue. There were no bellhops on duty to assist bringing luggage up to the... more

Now and then, our family likes to spend a weekend enjoying Long Island. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency this time. But for some of the other guests, we would have had a fantastic time. We arrived at the hotel at 11 a.m., not expecting to get into our room but it was ready. It was a good sized room,... more

This hotel may have been very glamorous 20 – 25 years ago but has deteriorated over the years. The greatest complaint was with the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. They were very dirty – I did not even think of using them. The front desk staffs were almost rude – I called ahead to request a non-smoking room and was... more

I stayed here on two occassions in May via Priceline. One night for $50, the other for $45. Wow. Rates on Hyatt.com were $169 so I got a great deal like I always do on Priceline (read my prior reviews)... Place was ok. It is farily isolated on a golf course. Its a fairly new place and I was impressed... more

No hot water for 2 days... that is how I entitled this review. Stayed at the hotel for 8 days in April 2008 and on Tuesday and Wednesday the week we stayed we had luke warm if not cold showers. My colleagues who stayed at the same time had the same problem. We complained to the front desk and they... more

I spent two nights at the Hyatt back in October of 2007. I was there to organize an event and had adjoining rooms with a friend. Every staff member at that hotel is extremely polite and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable. The wireless internet worked fine. The view from the upper floors is amazing. Long Island is pretty flat... more

Visting family over the holidays, we just needed a place to lay our heads for 8 nights. We did not spend a lot of time in the room, but it fit our needs perfectly. Every member of the hotel staff was exceptionally gracious and helpful whenever we needed anything. We had a standard king room, with a rollaway bed for... more

We stayed for two nights in September while attending a wedding in the area. Our room was one of the best we have had anywhere, a corner with two windows and flooded with light. Excellent amenities - internet, beautiful bath. Best of all were the beds - unbelievably comfortable. I have read some of the other reviews of this hotel... more
