I booked a few nights in this hotel because they offered an affordable university rate ($95/night). At first, I thought the accommodations were adequate, but there were enough problems with the hotel that I don't think I would return. It is worth it to pay a bit more to stay in the Palmer House directly on campus, if possible. What... more

If you need to visit Princeton University, this is a good site to start your trip. It takes only about 5-10 minutes to arrive on the Princeton campus, no matter what the time of day. The hotel seemed older, but then, I guess that's to be expected in the entire area. Check in was smooth, the room was ready and... more

I do not see what all of the negative reviews are about here. I found the recently renovated hotel classy, clean, and a very good bargain for the area. Our room as posted in the pictures was large and spotless with an added balcony as a bonus. The breakfast was average but most are so it is not that big... more

The good thing is the price. The staff is also friendly and knowledgable. The rooms are big and the lobby area looks OK. The shower works. Other than that: the rooms are smelly, either with smoke or heavy deodorant. I really like my breathing air free of odors. The wireless does not work in the room. The bed is pretty... more

We stayed here 4 nights. I found the staff very helpful and Charlie Brown's was a good value for the evening meal. The room slept well, the A/C was good and our room was quiet, but if there is a lot of activity at the pool, the rooms would not isolate the noise. For my purposes the location was great... more

I will never stay here again, the service was horrible, a person could never find anyone working at the desk, I would go to the desk and wait finally the front desk clerk would appear from behind a wall with a mouthful of food. Other front desk clerks were watching large tv (everybody loves raymond) before they even noticed me.... more

I am a business traveler who is on the road 4 days out of every week, so when I found a clarion at such a good rate I was excited. The decor was old, it smelled musty, vending machines were hard to find and when I did, they were completely empty. I had noisy neighbors that I spoke with the... more

We attended a graduation in Priceton New Jersey and stayed at the Palmer/Clarion. This place is very dirty, it has a very unfriendly staff and their continential breakfast was discusting, the breads and rolls were really stale. The breafast area was dirty and discusting. Most of the hotel employees are Mexican (which is fine if they could speak English) and... more
