My family and I stayed at the Trylon Motel for the fourth year this summer. We always enjoy our stay here. Let me begin by saying I have NEVER had any difficulty with the manager, Louise. She has been both courteous and professional in the reservation process, when checking in, and when checking out. The hotel is a typical Jersey... more

My family and I stayed at the Trylon July 19th through the 26th this year (2008). I was a little worried about the trip after reading several negative reviews. We had a great time, and the property was quite good. The rooms were nice and clean. We stayed in room 203, and I know that these are condos with different... more

My family and I stayed at the Trylon thru the 4th this year. I was VERY worried about the trip after reading the negative reviews on line. I was actually pleased with our entire experience. The rooms were nice, this isn't a 5* hotel, not sure what other people were expecting for the $. The rooms are all different as... more

I just had the oppurtunity to try and book a unit through the Manager Louise. She/he informed me that there was a unit available the week of my interest. I then requested to see pictures of the unit. Louise rudely responded that they do not need pictures to rent the unit that I could take it or leave it. She/he... more

I have to agree with the previous post in regards to room 217. This room was horrible and never updated. Nothing like the pictures in the brochure we requested prior to booking. Just beware that each room is seperately owned and the hotel staff is just managing the facility for the owners. Some owners take more pride in keeping their... more

We stayed at the Roman Holiday in June 2007 which is 2 resort up from the Trylon. We thought we would like to try a different place which we do often. We checked out Trylon's website and the pictures of the room's looked really nice. We booked our reservation several months ago. When we arrived at room 217 I was... more

This was our 2nd year at the Trylon for our extended family vacation. The location, right across the street from the beach is great. Many things about the Trylon are good, ie. gas grills, ocean view, but the rooms are DIRTY. I'm talking kitchen grease and that gray mung that collects on top. It looked like everything had been given... more

Me and my family stayed at the Trylon for a week in June 2006. We had a great time! Everyone was very pleased and impressed with their rooms. I was very excited about visiting the Wildwoods and Louise was such a pleasant help to me. I have to admit that I became a little leary as I read many negative... more

We stayed at the Trylon the beginning of August. The location is wonderful! The beach is just across the street and the boardwalk and famous Tram car ride(if you don't want to walk the boards) start right at the next block . The units were clean and everyone decorated different because they are individually owned, the coutryard was just great... more

We just came home from the Trylon today, spending four days there. We had never been there before and were very pleased. Apparently, they did some major renovations in the last couple years. Some of the units are owned privately, so each one is distinct. I was in three units and some are nicer than others, but all very nice.... more
