Beautiful B&B With onsite parking which we enjoyed as we like to "travel" around in Cape May. Right near the beach, chairs & towels available. Great friendly staff and very helpful. Weliked the freebees - m&ms, chocolate cookies and bottled water. Stayed in the deluxe suite and it was quite nice. more

In our opinion, The Saltwood House is THE place to stay in Cape May! It should be rated #1 in Cape May... but maybe that's just a matter of time! Half a block from the beach, walking distance to everything, incredible breakfast, and terrific hosts...Who could ask for more!! Like many other guests, we would never think of staying anywhere... more

This was our first time at a Bed & Breakfast, but definately not our last. Don has great attention to detail. The place was immaculate, and quiet, with really good breakfasts. The location is great, close to shops and half a block from the beach. This is one place to definately stay at again and again. I know that I... more

I have stayed at the Saltwood House every December for about ten years. Love staying there for several reasons: The rooms are very pleasantly decorated unlike many of the B&Bs which feature a heavy Victorian theme, the breakfasts are great, Don is an excellent host, the Inn is very conveniently located, and it has off street parking (a real plus... more

We have just returned from a most wonderful weekend at the Saltwood House. We have stayed there many times and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The inn is located on the beach block and right in the middle of the most fun street in town. The innkeepers (Don and Erik) are very friendly and helpful and make you feel most welcome.... more

For several years we celebrated a September birthday at The Saltwood. The Cape Island Suite was a great fit for the four of us to relax and visit. Cape May is a wonderful spot with shops, dining, and all those Victorian houses. But the Saltwood's personable hosts, Don and Erik, make your stay extra special! They keep a spotless place,... more
