My boyfriend & I just returned from a wonderful stay at the Bacchus Inn. The hotel was charming and John & Lisa were incredible hosts. John was a bundle of energy and made sure that everyone was enjoying their stay and satisfied. Every breakfast was scrumptious, albeit quite calorie laden! Without repeating what other satisfied customers have said, this B&B... more

My husband and I just returned from Cape May and the Bacchus Inn a few hours ago. This way my 3rd time to Cape May and my husband's first. I definitely recommend the Bacchus Inn. I travel for my job and typically stay in Westin, Marriott and Sheraton which I find to be acceptable from a quality standpoint, but often... more

Friendly hosts, lots of amenities and clean rooms with attention to detail make the Bacchus a great Cape May option. Lisa and John, our innkeepers, were very kind. We noticed lots of repeat guests and will mostly likely be part of that group in the near future. Everyone felt comfortable. This Inn is beautiful, but casual and anything from stuffy.... more

This was our first B&B stay in Cape May, and I think we've already found our home away from home during our visits to the Cape! John & Lisa run this great B&B about two blocks from the ocean. It may not be ocean view, but many B&Bs in Cape May aren't. Columbia Avenue is full of beautiful B&Bs and... more

We stayed at the Bacchus Inn for our anniversary weekend and it was wonderful! The inn keepers are so friendly and the food is great. Wine & cheese in the afternoon was a nice treat, they even had yummy brownies out. Our room was lovely and tucked in the cottage. Quite comfy witht he ceiling fan and electric fireplace. We... more

We were only able to stay one night, but we had a great time. The room was private (tucked in the back with a separate entrance), nicely decorated and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the food was excellent. The innkeepers were so nice just to talk with, and they were also very accomodating and helpful in terms of... more

We had a great stay at the Bacchus Inn. John was very helpful in recommending restaurants and making our reservations. The bikes available for guest use were so much fun for a ride to the lighthouse. Beautiful property and rooms, not to mention a delicious breakfast! We'll be back for more! more

We just returned from our weekend trip to Cape May and had a great time. My wife and I thought the Bacchus Inn was great. The hosts are friendly and very engaging. They took the time to find out about each of the guests, made sure everyone was having a good time, and offer advice/suggestions, or just chit-chat. Here's a... more

This was one of the most wonderful and warm B&Bs we have ever stayed in. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly. They made us feel very much at home. The rooms are very clean and cozy. We would definitely come back and stay here next time we are in Cape May. more

My husband and i love to travel and we have recently discovered Cape May. We love shopping, sun bathing and going to great restaurants and Cape May has the best of all these things. We especially loved the Bacchus we have stayed at several other Inns and this was one of our favorites. The Innkeepers are very entertaining and welcoming... more
