Rooms were well thought out, spacious and spotless. The two bathrooms were handy indeed and I agree with others that the televisions waste counter space. Our family booked a suite and two additional rooms. There was an in-room coffee pot if you didn't want to go downstairs to the Starbucks in the lobby. There was also a Starbucks within walking... more

The rooms there are top of the line for a standard casino hotel room. The large TV plus two more small ones(one in each bathroom) turned out to be very handy. When we would get back to the room we would both rush to the bathroom and use our own at the same time. We could shower and get ready... more

I just returned from a three night stay at Harrah's Lake Tahoe, booking a room through their Total Rewards website. My partner and I had traveled to Tahoe to see the Alison Krauss/Robert Plant concert at the Harvey's Outdoor Amphitheater. Originally, we were going to stay at a non-gaming hotel, but after checking the rates in comparison to the offers... more

Attended a meeting which took place at Harrah's. There are other sections of Lake Tahoe (i.e. the western shore or some of the northern shore communities) that look more appealing if you're the sort of person who is looking for a "back to nature" type of experience. For South Lake Tahoe, though, this was an awfully nice room. Spacious, clean,... more

My partner and I went up to Lake Tahoe for a quick day trip. We live very close to Lake Tahoe and thought it would be fun to stay overnight. Harrahs lobby has been updated since the last time we were there and it looks excellent! Nice marble floor, someone to greet you and direct you to an open front... more

My friend, my sister, and I stayed at Harrah's for a last minute snowboarding trip in mid- April. The Luxury room had plenty of space for the three of us (and all our gear). The beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was an added bonus! It was about a 5 minute walk to the Gondola at Heavenly which was... more

I stayed 2 nights comped in an Executive Room, 15th floor, room number 15036. The room is spacious with many higher end appointments like a mini bar, 32" TV, TVs and phones in each bathroom. The bedding and pillows are comfy but not overwhelmingly so. The carpet was hard, designed for high wear I suppose. The wooden shudders can be... more

Harrah's Lake Tahoe and Embassy Suites are both in the running for best hotel in Lake Tahoe. The advantage to Harrah's is they offer gambling and more restaurant choices. The advantage to Embassy Suites is it's nonsmoking and quieter, plus they offer breakfast and a cocktail reception. The lake views from the Harrah's rooms are amazing. The rooms are large... more

My wife and I stayed at Harrah's Lake Tahoe for a couple of nights last week for a little get away. We stayed in an executive room and really liked it. It was nice size with a long couch, his and her bathrooms, 32" TV, fridge, and safe. Nice view too. It suited us just fine. All the staff we... more

We just returned from a 3-night stay at Harrahs Tahoe. We were very impressed with the quality of the hotel. It is in a whole different class than Reno or Vegas Harrahs. We were on the 14th floor and our room was beautiful. It was also very quiet, we never heard a peep from next door or even from the... more
