While the architecture is a bit dated (it feels like 1965) the hotel is well maintained and very clean. The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. A great location and the prices are very reasonable -- even low. I'll be coming back to stay here again. more

Let's face it, for $40/night, when Harrah's is charging $150, you're not going to get a five-star place. I would NOT stay here again. The beds were NOT comfortable. The towels were not even big enough to cover my 5-year-old. The amount of noise both from vehicular traffic and the somewhat transient people, did not allow for any rest or sleep. It was not a pleasant stay. I have stayed at the Wonder Lodge many, many times and have experienced nothing other than warm freindly service. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. You are less than 5 minutes walking time from the main casinos in the downtown area. You just can't beat the motel for the price you pay. more
