My wife and I stayed at the Sahara Casino Hotel from July 14th to 17th. We read some of the reviews after we booked and were going to cancel but it was after the 72-hour cancellation penalty before we realized our mistake! The first thing you see upon arriving is the run down garage with trash and broken beer bottles.... more

The Sahara is a bit worn down, some of the other parts of the hotel might be better though. If i go to Vegas again i would look for some better offers further down the Strip. The pool area is nice, and the bar/cafe is good. It is also a plus that the monorail is so close. more

My husband and I stayed at the Sahara for 4 nights. The price was nice but you pay for what you get. I read alot of reviews before we booked and I wish I would of listened. If you are a non-smoker beware. All the rooms smell like a smoker was recently there. The buffet was horrible! We tried breakfast... more

We stayed at the Sahara just overnight on our way to California. I had read mixed reviewed but more good than bad. We ended up having a terrible experience. First of all we waited over 45 minutes to check in since they only had 3 clerks on a Saturday night. We were not expecting great things but the shabbiness of... more

I wanted to spend my money on gambling not on my room. The rooms are okay but not very clean. Outdated decor. Nice but small casino. Slots payed out pretty good. Friendly dealers at the table games. Check in was fast and overall service was good. At the end of the strip but the monorail was easy to get to... more

This place is awful. We arrived late in the afternoon, carried our luggage up to the hotel room and got ready to go out for the evening, an hour later when we arrived back at my boyfriends truck it had been broken into and everything had been stolen, including his personal hanging clothes we hadn't had an opportunity to take... more

Cheap price. Cheap hotel. The check in took over an hour. Welcome! Check out took 45 minutes. Only two people working the counter. Management should realize that the quicker they check in the more the gamble. The Sports Book if you want to call it that is a joke 4 bench tables in a closet space with 6 TV’s by... more

We stayed at Sahara from 17th to 21st of JUN. Ck in procedure was quite long ( approx 40 min ) as only one counter was opened. Room was quite old ( in the oldest tower ) I've asked to move us to an higer floor , because 1st room they gave us , was too close to the A/C... more

If you plan on going here to stay.. Be prepared for rooms with no air conditioning. The exterior hallways are cooler than the rooms. Our first night it was like a sauna. We had three rooms in our party. We all planned to move the next day. We changed rooms and received a room with an acceptable temperature. However in... more
