This place has quite a few negative reviews, but I decided for the price it might be worth a try. I knew beforehand of the "resort fee". A lot of resorts add those type charges when you check in. This is the worst hotel that I've ever been. I stayed in one of the "newly renovated" tower suites. The sheets smells like somebody else's body odor. Corridor and suite smells like those antique store/ thrift shop. I would recommend this to those who really missed their grandma's essence. Location though is not bad. more

I stayed here for 2 nights. Room was disgusting. Bed was sagging, and old. Decor was embarrasing. Strange chains held the light up. This place should be knocked. My room had a balcony view of what looked like a garbage area. I will never stay here again. more

It's faded, but it's fine, especially at $49 a night -- the current base rate, if you don't count the phony $7.95 a night "resort fee." We stayed three nights on a package deal, were booked for a garden room, but upgraded to Island Tower without asking and/or charge. The room was large, clean and comfortable.
