The rooms at this hotel were large and clean but fairly average. Service at the on-site restaurants was very slow. There are many other dining options within walking distance, which was nice. If you are looking for Vegas excitement, this is not the place for you. That said, Sunset Station worked well for my family. We were attending a family... more

I can not say enough good things about this hotel. I stayed 2 nights here in June to avoid the high prices of the Vegas strip and to use the hotel as a starting point for sightseeing. This place was fabulous. It was easy to get to from the airport. The room sparkled like new and was extremely comfortable. I... more

We just finished spending eight nights at the Sunset Station. The employees were all very friendly and really helped if we had a question. The rooms and casino are very, very clean. Overall, a good stay. Even though it is 10-15 minutes from strip, the hotel is really easy to access. more

We stayed at Sunset Station over the first weekend of May. The weather was good and the pool was open, which I was worried about as others on here have said it's usually closed. The pool area was very nice but there were more people than loungers yet from our room we could see more stacked up at the back.... more

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Vegas over the last 35 years, so I do have a reference. I actually lived 3 miles from Sunset Station when it was being built, but I never set foot in there. Last weekend was my annual golf trip and we switched from the Golden Nugget to the SS for ease... more

If you want to see the action of the Las Vegas strip then this hotel is not for you. We stayed here because we have friends that live in Henderson. The casino is small by LV standards, however, the service and rooms were of very good standard. The Sunset has a cinema and bowling alley, so if you have children... more

What a pleasant surprise! The rooms are very clean and contemporary...a great value. Check-in was quick and the service was friendly. Had a fun time in the beautiful (yes, really) bowling alley, and an even better time at the blackjack tables. The dealers were funny, entertaining, and extremely helpful...we all came out ahead! One thing I generally dislike about Las... more

A city within a city!! If you want to avoid the mainstream Vegas strip action, this is the place to stay. This hotel has everything you could want without ever leaving the property. The rooms were GRAND for the money. Handicap friendly (my mom was in a wheelchair) and an overall excellent experience. Two thumbs up!!! more

My wife and I stayed at Sunset Station the week of February 10 through February 16, 2008. This was not our first visit to Sunset, we normally check the rates there first when going to Las Vegas. Our stay was nice until the last day, Saturday the 16th, when, as we were getting ready to depart, the hot water failed.... more

The check-in at Sunset Station was quick and efficient. Our room was clean. We asked for one extra towel and were given three. The next day extra towels were left in the room when it was cleaned. The breakfast buffet was very good considering the inexpensive price. The location is great. My husband loves to go to the movies located... more
