We stayed there for a softball tournament. I was so surprised at how much I enjoyed it, it wasn't at all like some of the previous reviewers' experiences. No, it's not as pretty inside as say, the Embassy Suites, but the suite was so huge, two full-sized rooms with plenty of space to walk around, two sinks that were outside... more

This hotel was chosen by our league because the bowling alley we were having our tournament in was part of the property... otherwise, I generally don't reserve a room that TripAdvisor rates as average to worse. So I wasn't sure what we'd gotten ourselves into for the weekend but resigned to make the most of it. We had a king... more

We went there for a bowling tournament. And it is really old, bedspreads felt dirty, the bathroomwas out-dated & just plain crummy. The tile under the vanity was so cracked that the grout had fallen out. The room stunk so bad (it was a non smoking room) it was awful, nauseating. Get this! At 10:15 p.m., I'm in my pj's... more

I stayed here with my children for a cheerleading competition. It is BY FAR the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I would warn anyone thinking about staying there to stay elsewhere. I was disgusted and felt the need to take a shower just from being there. I went to use the coffee machine to heat water and make... more

Just left the Gold Dust in Carson and will say that on the outside the hotel looks nice; it has a casino and an RV park. However on the inside it goes down hill fast. I see some nice reviews for this place on the web, and have to wonder if there are two Gold Dust hotels in Carson! I... more

IMy colleagues stayed at he Gold Dust seven years ago and suggested we return. Tthe front desk staff were pleasant and efficient. Rooms were very spacious with desk area and comfortable reading chair, nice bed and linens. The bathroom was modern and roomy, with nice toiletries. There was the advantage of another sink and bar in the bedroom. I used... more

This hotel exceded my expectations. The hotel was extremely well kept and roomier than I thought. We reserved a suite with 2 queen size beds, the room was extremely spacious and didn't smell of smoke like most hotels with a casino do. There is a steakhouse, a small diner and a bowling alley. The casino isn't very big at all... more

We stayed 2 nights & had a great time, location was easy to find. Hotel is quiet, clean, roomy & has a tub. The pool landscapeing is very nice, even has BBQ's for you to use, the pool is big & clean. The Spa was nice too. We did not see or hear any unruley guests. The view from the... more

There was good and bad about this hotel. The good was the beautiful desert view of mountains out our windows. The best thing was that they opened and we let in lots of fresh air. The weather in March is wonderful. We also enjoyed the cows and calfs outside our window in the morning. The coffee shop is excellent. Ate... more

The rooms are nice and the hotel is not too big--where you might get lost. We have friends in Carson City and I used to work there. I've stayed in most of the hotels in Carson. We now go to Carson for fun and new memories. The casino is small but fine for general gambling. a pool, hot tub, bowling... more
