I was pleasantly surprised with the size and absolute cleanliness of the room (#401) I got for $45/night at the AAA rate! Slept soundly both nights. Food good. Great high-speed Internet ($100 deposit, fully refundable, for a network card and all other connectivity devices), although the room has a dataport for dial-up. Staff was very friendly. more

My wife and I enjoyed our visit to the Best Western Carson Station Hotel and Casino. The rooms were confortable and the mattresses firm but not too firm. The room was very clean and well appointed. Make no mistake. This is a casino with a high rise hotel above. If you can handle the fact that the lobby is stuffed with gaming machines and the associated gamblers, a restaurant, a gift shop, and a music stage, then you probably won't have a problem. The Carson Station was a very comfortable hotel. The lounges and the staff were the greatest. The place is very clean and the water pressure in the showers was great. Carson Station is a great location if you want to travel to Virginia City or Yosemite. I had the best vacation while staying at the Carson Station. more
