I hope the motel has improved since September 2005 when we stayed there. We decided to stay in Beatty as its a good gateway to Death Valley. I don't think I'd stay at the Motel6 again though. Indifferent staff, small room, filthy carpet throughout building, in my room the carpet actually felt sticky, ew. Bathroom seemed clean. No AAA discount despite the website's claims. $62 double occupancy seems a bit steep for Beatty, for what you get. more

Nice 2 story motel with a very good price. Save a couple $ reserving on Motel 6 website. Nothing special, but we found the room spacious, quiet and adequately clean. No pool, but motel owner is same for casino 200 yds. up the road and you can use theirs. --- Beatty had great access to DV some 30 miles away.... more

The rooms are tiny, the walls are thin, the staff is surly. My mother is handicapped and specifically requested a handicapped room when she booked the room, and they tried to put her in a room where she'd need to climb stairs, which is physically impossible for her, and she had to practically threaten them with extinction under the Americans... more

The hotel is at the northeast entrance to Death Valley-very convenient to a great attraction. It is clean,comfortable and quiet.My wife and I had a great nights sleep.Good food is available at the casino,a two minute walk from the hotel. I will definately stay here again. more

This hotel is ok, and about on par with many other Motel 6s. Some are good, some are bleak, most are adequate. This one may be the best choice in Beatty, where there are few other options.
