We stayed in a small studio room for a few days during the summer season. The hotel was more or less deserted, staff included, which caused a few inconveniences. The rooms are very dated, and the quality of bedding- mattress, linens and the whole package- was very poor in our room. The a/c was an indoor/outdoor wall unit that was... more

This was my first skiing trip and I am pleased that it was at Sunday River. Also it was my first trip to the states and was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. We stayed at the Grand Summit and it was perfectly adequate for our needs. Lovely big room, comfortable bed and a small useful kitchette. Housekeeping was good.... more

I stayed at the Grand Summit a few months back for a friends wedding. It was off season so I could tell you how "Sick!" the slopes were, but i hiked up to the summit, which was fun. The hotel was extremely nice and had tons of amenties included a heated pool. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking... more

We stayed here in the fall which is obviously is not there busy season. The hotel was quiet. I only saw two other people the two nights we were there and that was at checkout. The hotel rooms are dated and the tv's are very little. The shower was okay. The beds are dated and not very comfortable. The pool... more

We stayed at the Grand Summit at Sunday River the week of July 4th. We stayed in Unit #368. Overall, the room was very spacious and clean. Only 2 complaints about the room: the bed was old and VERY uncomfortable. The sofa bed was more comfortable. And the shower had low water pressure. Other than that, not bad. As timeshare... more

BUYER BEWARE! The photo on the outside bares no resemblance to the horrors inside. Also. The best advice I can give you: if you book here remember to bring your own bedding. You will thank me for this priceless advice. What a ripoff! The skiing itself is good however. more

We stayed at the Summit for five nights. The room was clean and the only complaint I have is that the walls are really thin and we could hear the people next door talking at 5am every morning. The staff was very friendly at check in/out, and they were helping in giving us information about things to do in the... more

I stayed here on business and was very disappointed in the rooms. It was obvious that they are geared toward clientel that would trash them in a second - not a single picture on the walls, cheap furniture, ugly carpeting and decor, polyethelene shower/tubs, etc. etc. And very noisy - can hear everything from people walking down the hall to... more

We stayed at the Grand Summit Resort Hotel on the Weekend of Jan. 20-21. Although the room was clean, and spacious enough, we did not get as we expected. We were told that we would get a Studio Deluxe with kitchenette and ended up with a standard room with 2 beds. This was unexpected, but explained by "first come, first... more
