I've stayed at this hotel a few times, passing through Bangor. I think, as Bangor goes, this is one of the better options. Great spot. Have been to Bangor numerous times, but never stayed at the Fairfield. Will definitely stay here again. Front desk was exceptionally friendly, breakfast was good, although I agree with others here, the breakfast room became very busy. Nice pool, hottub, small fitness area-children enjoyed this. Visiting U Maine, we enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and well equipt. Breakfast had a nice variety although room got quite full as a group was in. Fish bowls on the breakfast tables made unique conversation at breakfast. Will use this hotel again when we return to U Maine. more

Stayed one night on a short business trip. Very nice, comfortable and clean with exceptionally friendly front desk person. Breakfast spread was great but the room was exceptionally crowded. Seems to be a popular tour bus stop. Overall, highly recommend based on one stay. more

Was in Bangor on business for 2 nights last month and stayed at this place. Very conveniently located and the front desk staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and adequate. Bed was comfortable. Wireless internet worked well throughout the whole property and the breakfast in the morning was great!!! Warm cookies at check in were a plus too.... more
