I found this hotel to be a great value for the money. The room was quite large, we have stayed at many suites in downtown chicago and I think this may be one of the best. Separate living room with sofa bed, microwave and fridge, then large bedroom with own sink in there. Clean lobby and rooms, staff friendly enough... more

Our family prefers this hotel to any other (including staying with family members in the city). It is conveniently located to everything we want to do. The staff is so friendly, they always remember us and it is like coming home each time we stay. We find the staff helpful when trying to locate things we are unfamiliar with, and... more

The staff at this hotel is extra friendly and makes our family feel at home every time we are there. From the time we check in, and all through our stay their friendly and expedient service makes us want to return over and over again. The best value in town and the best location for seeing the city. Being frequent... more

Hospitality defined by apathetic and unfriendly staff is what you may experience at your stay here. I was in Chicago for a week, and my husband booked this place, b/c they have a separate living room and bedroom, as well as a microwave. We regretted the decision the day we walked in, where we were greeted rather unkindly by the... more

Nice hotel, convenient to many places. Had two problems. First, pool was closed all day Monday after we arrived. Not good - considering it was Spring Break and we have a kid. Second, make sure to put out your "Do not Disturb" every morning before you leave for breakfast. Had a situation where cleaning person came before 9 am, and... more

The hotel is a superb facility located in the middle of anything you could want to do, even walking in sub zero temps! There is a good grocery store 1/2 block away just to the right once you leave the front of the hotel (not Trader Joe's overpriced snob crap which is also close by). The room was very nice... more

Hotel was centrally located just north of the Chicago River, perfect for the Mag Mile and Hancock Tower and just a few blocks from the Loop. Subway stop within 100 metre walk. Rooms were large, comfortable and well equipped, though being English, the tea was awful, but you learn to live with that!! Pool was pretty tiny for a hotel... more

I stayed here for 2 nights on business. The hot breakfast every morning was great. The manager reception at night offers 2 hours of free drinks and hot dogs. There is also wireless and wired internet in the rooms. I used a shuttle to get from O'Hare to the hotel but they advised against using one on the return trip.... more

This hotel is located on State St. It is nearby to a number of fine restaurants and attractions. All of the major attractions are either within a taxi ride or walk. The hotel is nice, the main lobby is not as extensive as you would expect for a regular Embassy Suites but the restaurant area and pool & fitness center... more

Booked on hilton.com and got a good rate. Check in was very fast, asked for a room on a high floor away from the elevator and that is just what I got. The staff was very helpful. The room was just as expected, living room, small kitchen area, dining room table and a separate bedroom. The room had 2 tv's... more
