We spent two nights @ the hotel. It was the most affordable alternative when we looked for places on the beach. The place was nice and it was convenient for us. We did not have to go too far to see the fireworks on the 4th. All in all it was an enjoyable couple of days. more

I could only recommend this hotel for two reasons, location and price. Everthing else is very average. No way could you describe the exterior as attractive. The rooms were just adequate, look well used. I would not use the pool, the hotel was full of American families on holiday, and the kids had taken over the pool. Only to be... more

I stayed one Saturday night and there was a Swinger sex party being held on the premises at the hotel in the bar called the Ole Tavern. Not family friendly at all. more

I booked three nights through priceline and when I arrived and got to the room it was horrible!! I stayed in the back part of the motel (rat nest)and heard 7 trains all night long and roughly 6 helicopters -- and that was just the inconvience. The room itself was horrible! Priceline described it as a two or two and... more

It was downtown, so there were a few odd characters here and there, and one even asked for a handout, but not scarry really. The room was good enough and the breakfast alright, but the main problem was that trains blew whistles very long and loud during the night several times. I guess earplugs would have helped but I didn't... more

From the moment we drove past the pile of dirty carpet in the parking lot, till the time we saw the dirty washcloth in our clean room, this place was a horror. The recent remodeling must have been done by chimpanzees, because the curtains fell off of the wall when trying to open, and the bathroom door had fingerprints left... more

Very basic. Good for business trips, $59.00 for a two bed dorm. Very cheap, good bang for the bucks. more

We read the reviews after booking the room. Needless to say we were slightly concerned to say the least. I especially enjoyed the "crack whore" review. After arriving we were plesently suprised. The hotel staft was friendly & helpful. The room was clean and cool. The shower had plenty of hot water,oh...and no crack whores to be found thank God!... more

Spent there just one night as a walk-in guest wth my wife, during a Florida trip in June 2007. Of course the best thing of the house is the location. We spent the night before in a motel near the I-10, some 6 ms away, for just 2 Dollars less. Everything else around our stay was just okay- nothing special,... more
