I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 2 nights on business. It was a bit worrisome driving up and seeing tarps over the hotel, but they were just painting the exterior and renovating! I got a newly renovated room with very comfortable bed, nice bed linens and toiletries. Much better then I ever imagined at a hotel with outside... more

Staff was great. Rooms were spacious and clean. Within walking distance of a mall and movie theater. Several restuarants are nearby. more

I just returned from a 2 night stay in mid-December. The initial price I was quoted over the phone was $119. IMO, that would have been too much for this motel. This hotel is neither good, nor bad: old, but clean. It was pretty noisy, but I sleep well ;) No other complains. Not that far from Santa Monica Beach (about 25 minutes). Many restraunts around.
