The resort was Great. We stayed at the riverside last year and the pool at the french quarter is so much better. This resort is 1/2 the size of riverside and never seems busy. The only draw back is no sit down table service. more

My family and I stayed at the French Quarter section of the Port Orleans Resort at Disney in July. This was my first time staying at a Disney on-site hotel and my expectations were high. We got to the hotel much earlier than the check in time and with some light prodding at check in, the very cordial Desk Clerk... more
We had connecting rooms for two families on the ground floor overlooking the fountain court in building 2. FQ is a small resort which means not much walking to your room after a long day at the parks. That was a blessing since we were tired and had two small children and some of the resorts are very large. The... more
As a family of 7 adults and 4 children with an age range from 5 years to 87 years our stay at Port Orleans French Quarter catered for us all. After the busy time spent in the parks it was so peaceful to return to this resort for a lazy spell around the pool. Although the British travel agent mixed... more
This hotel was adequate for the price you pay. It was clean, inside the room and out, and relatively quiet for a family resort (especially since I think we went during one of the most traveled weeks of the summer). The best thing about the resort is the pool. It has a slide that kids will love. Get out there... more
We just returned from our Disney vacation and stay at the Port Orleans French Quarter. Our stay was excellent and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. The hotel is situated right on the river that flows into the Downtown Disney area which we were able to explore from the Sea Racers we had rented. The food court is... more
Lets face it, at the end of the day all you want is a shower and a bed. The Port Orleans – French Quarter fills that need just fine. Family of 4 stayed here for one week. Room was clean, and house keeping kept it that way. We had a corner room but could here no noise from any of... more
This is the perfect Disney resort if you are looking for the quieter side of Disney. It is the smaller of the two Port Orleans resorts but beautiful. Well kept grounds, fabulous themed pool, well stocked eating area, great parking and comfortable rooms. We stayed in room 3226 for two weeks, very close to the pool and the reception area,... more
This trip to Disney was the second for myself and the first for my husband and 2 small kids. Twenty years ago, i stayed at the Carribean Beach resort, which at the time I loved, and still have fond memories of. This trip i booked Port Orleans due to some bad reviews about the poor aging of the CBR. Because... more
My husband and made the decision to stay at the Port Orleans French Quarter for our Honeymoon. It was very nice. We had a King Room over looking the fountain. The room was very clean, the bathtub was a great size, the lighting was great, and the hotel was just far enough away from everything to have a nice quiet... more
