I was a little skeptical about the location and how nice it was going to be since I never truly stayed in Key West for a long period of time. This hotel turned out to be better than advertised and worth every bit. The location is great because it is the closest place you can get to Ft. Zach Taylor... more

When we arrived in Key West, we told our taxi driver, The Weatherstation Inn and he said, "oh, probably the nicest place in Key West." We thought he probably says this to all his clients until we got there. Everything about the place is perfect: the receptionist who greets you like you're a VIP, the room, the location, the breakfast,... more

This place is an absolute gem. Clean, well decorated, friendly staff, a great breakfast assortment, quiet area in a desirable neighbourhood - I could go on. There was nothing about it which I could criticise. Perhaps a bit more expensive than some other accomodation in Key West but worth paying the extra. Very close to the hustle and bustle of... more

This was the best price B & B we could find that had rooms! We lucked out. First, it's location...inside the Truman Annex is very quiet and private. It is all private residences and is the access to Fort Zachary Taylor park and beach. Yet you are just a 2-3 minute walk to Mallory Square and Duvall Street. Secondly, our... more

The Weather Station Inn is a wonderful hotel. It is not cheep, but altogether it gives good value for the money. The inn is vary small (I believe that there are only four rooms on the first floor), but each room is vary spacey. The pool was very small and I didn’t use it. It was better to go to... more

some people are picky! this place is a 5. we only had 1 night in key west and what a perfect place to stay. it was like going back in time to a bygone age of the old colonial days. people are moaning about the stairs being outside the building and settlement cracks in the wall. well, its called character... more

This hotel is a lovely place to stay. Beautiful rooms, grounds, atmosphere and a great breakfast. We were sad that we could only stay one night as it was fully booked the following night. Please don't make the same mistake we did though. The hotel is within the gated Truman Annexe which we didn't realise, so we couldn't find it... more

I’ve been staying at the Weatherstation for the last 7 years and was nervous about my latest stay after reading so many mediocre reviews on Trip Advisor. I’ve favorably reviewed this B&B in the past, and was hoping that I wouldn’t need to write a revised version. Luckily, we had a lovely visit. Todd was the agent on duty when... more

It's in a great location, you can walk to most anyplace in Oldtown that you want to go. They don't mention the 2.5 flights of stairs you have to climb to get to you rooms on the second floor. Be prepared. Decent view from the rooftop, after you climb another flight of stairs, from which it is easy to get... more

My husband and I recently stayed for 2 nights at the Weatherstation Inn- and I can't say that we would be back. The one nice thing about it is the location- it is in the Truman Annex, a gated community, which is private and quiet, compared to the hustle and bustle of Duval St., only a few blocks away. However,... more
