We stayed at the Bamboo Resort in March/07.We had a great time there and they treated us very well.The room was quite nice.It had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.There was a bar fridge in the room which they kept stocked with beer/water/pop.They replenished about 2-3 beer/day.They came in quite handy as we lay round... more

When we rang the bell at the gate to check-in, a staff member poked his head out of the staff entrance and treated us as if we were door-to-door salespeople. For the rest of our stay, they were never particularly polite. Perhaps we were spoiled by other gay guesthouses where the owners and/or staff are cordial while respecting your privacy.... more

Stayed here for a weekend in June. The two guys that run the place are very laid back. The little things are what sets it apart. I spent 9 days at The Bamboo Resort - and wouldn't hesitate to go back. This 7-unit all-male gay resort is immaculately clean, comfortatble, and attractive. The pool is great - kept at a terrific temperation (perfect for midnight swims), and the wrap-around deck is a visual plus to the property - beautiful landscaping.
