We were on vacation and returning home from a long road trip and checked in at a hotel that was undergoing major renovation. Great, pet-friendly small motel, right on the canal in Cape Coral. My husband and I stayed at the Dockside from August 12th-14th, and back again on the 16th-19th, after a brief trip to Key West. This stay was ok. Room size was great. Nice full sink for the dish washing. Nice size fridge too. The dock was small on the canal (which was also small), but was a nice place to sit and relax. They have a fenced in pet area where pets can roam free. Fairly clean, but not perfect. The carpet was dirty.... more

Our experience at the Dockside Inn was GREAT. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. The only thing we would have changed is to have the TV viewable from the bed. The pool was clean and there is dockside seating also. No regrets here! more

Even at the height of the Easter travel season, this pet- and boat-friendly family owned resort showed no sign of fatigue.
