I never seem to be able to book a hotel room at Mohegan Sun when we want to go but I was always to find this Hampton Inn that's close by and is much cheaper than Mohegan's hotel. We stayed here once last year and again this summer as a stop off on our way to the Cape. The hotel... more

Stayed here for one night on our recent trip to visit Mystic Seaport and Mohegan Sun. All the hotels near the Seaport were booked so we ended up here. This is your typical Hampton Inn - nothing fancy. It is located fairly close to I-95 and it is very convenient to both Mohegan Sun (straight up the road, nine miles,... more

My company always books Hilton and Hampton Inn's and this one was no disappointment. Clean, easy to get to, great breakfast and great cookies. Great as usual. more

This is a consistently excellent hotel for the money. I frequent this area about once every month or so, and since I have found this hotel I have not stayed anywhere else! The rooms are clean and spacious with excellent housekeeping staff. King rooms have a couch/seating area. There is a fridge and microwave in each room, which is really... more

When we arrived, the staff was very friendly and gave us a list of local restaurants and attractions, all with descriptions and directions. Turns out the rate is higher ($10) for double occupancy, which I could have sworn I had made them for on Hampton's website, but I can't blame the staff for that issue, and it was relatively minor.... more

My spouse and I stayed at this inn for three days. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was very good and the indoor pool was very nice, Coffee and tea available day and night at the lobby. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Planning on going back for the fall foliage to... more

My wife, 8-year old son and I just returned from a four-day stay at the Hampton Inn in Groton and had one of the best hotel experiences in a long time! We travel every summer to somewhere in the New England states and decided to check out all of the attractions in and around Mystic this year. After reading a... more

What this hotel features is its proximity to the ferry that serves Long Island (the treminal is less than ten minutes away). On the other hand, this Hampton property is not well-maintained, the floors of our room's bath area can only be described as "sticky", and noise from the major road in front of the hotel made it hard to... more

We stayed at this property in order to be close to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. The rooms were clean and comfortable -- your basic chain hotel. Our room was a double with two double beds -- the beds seemed smaller than a normal full-size bed, so if you're used to a king or queen I think the beds will seem... more
