My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights after I found an off-season deal through TravelZoo. The hotel was VERY quiet because ski season had ended two weeks prior to our trip and summer travel had not yet started. We saw only 4-5 other groups (one family, mostly couples) during our entire stay. The staff were very attentive and... more

We just returned from a 4 night stay at Cordillera and can report that our stay was amazing in every respect. My wife and I booked the trip as a short getaway from our small kids at home. I came to ski while she wanted to relax at the spa, use the hotel's nordic facility for snowshoeing and just enjoy... more

Everything was perfect! We stayed at Lodge at Cordillera from Dec 21 – 23. The Room was exactly as featured on their website. If you want a romantic setting away from crowds, this is the place for you. The service was first class and not pretentious or arrogant. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the bellman... more

For the price, this hotel is just a little disappointing. It was recently upgraded, but there are still bits and pieces that feel outdated. Pros: great beds and bedding, fantastic restaurant, nice spa. Cons: showers are really outdated, unattractive hallways. more

Perhaps the best thing about the Lodge is its breathtaking setting. Everything else is pretty mediocre. We upgraded to a mountain-view room, and though the view was amazing the room was worn. We actually had a princess telephone—something I hadn’t seen since the 1960s, and of course, it had no buttons directing the caller to various hotel departments. Not only... more

I had been to the Cordillera a few years ago for a business retreat and was looking forward to going back with my husband for a relaxing weekend out of the city. I got a special rate through Rock Resorts and am glad I did not pay full price. The lodge seemed somewhat tired and in need of some repairs.... more

I've been to this property several times for day trips, use of the spa, etc but never for an overnight stay. My husband and I had the most beautiful mountain view, balcony and fireplace. They even went as far as accomodating my 6'2 husband by tracking down a robe that would fit him. The pool could use some additional staffing.... more

Since I frequently use TripAdvisor, I figured it was time to get on and write a review myself....we just returned from a 2 day stay at the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera and it was absolutely perfect. We drove up from Denver in the afternoon, and had a spa appointment booked at 5 pm, so we checked in, enjoyed the... more

THe Lodge and Spa at Cordillera was simply magnificant. Our family travels extensively and we found this resort to be a little slice of heaven. It is intimate and cozy and sometimes we felt as if we had the whole place to ourselves. It was very easy to retire to the great room after skiing and sit in front of... more

We returned to the Cordillera for the first time since having our wedding there in August, 2006. The service and people were very welcoming and accomodating - even upgrading our room and sending up a bottle of champagne to welcome us back. Those little touches go a long way! I would definitely love to go back every year and this... more
