I gave this 'Motel' an excellent rating. Overzealous reviewers and lodgers should consider what they are are reviewing, before providing good or bad opinions. First, in true Motel fashion, the place is on a main road, with easy parking on site. The rooms were perfectly clean. I have a habit of checking window sills, and not a speck. The well... more

This hotel was cute from the outside, very clean, same on the inside...my kids had a great time in the pool and it is within 5 minutes of the boardwalk! The manager was so helpful and friendly and the breakfast was pretty great too. All in all, next time we are in town we will stay here! more

I was setting up a trip for several family members. We were going up for a long weekend to see other family members. I read the reviews for this place and it sounded very nice. Don't know what happened between then and now!! Well, how embarrassed was I when we got there??? The outside appearance of the place was creepy.... more

I must say, we did have the best intentions to stay here and enjoy our honeymoon. the MGR. initiallyseemed most helpful, though the condition and quality of the inside of the hotel left a lot to be desired. We are not picky folk, we just wanted somewhere to quietly relax and be near the beach...which is quite a hike. Most... more

Disregard the glowing reviews of this hotel-this is a 1-2 star place. At $64 we didn't quite get what we paid for.I should've booked through Priceline and let them pick, but I wanted a room within walking distance to the Boardwalk. You technically could walk to the Boardwalk from here, but even with my thriftiness, I'm glad we drove there... more

We chose this motel based on some of the TripAdvisor reviews, and were very, very disappointed. There is no connection between some of the reviews that rate it highly, and reality, which is why I took the time to post some additional photos. The first thing we saw when we drove into the parking lot (we drove by the first... more

After comparing properties online I decided to book here based on pictures (misleading) and availability (Most other major brand hotels were sold out). The front of the property looks ok, but the actual location of the property is on a seedy block of Ocean compete with a residential motel next door, whose occupants freely grouped outside drinking and playing load... more

Grafitti scratched into the mirror, FILTHY mattress, used towels, smells like moldy food, DEPRESSING, people next door dealing drugs and it's not 4 blocks to the Boardwalk, more like 1 mile. It's like Tiajuana, except you pay $150 a night. ICK!!!!!!!!! more

Stayed here for daughter's graduation from UCSC. Was really disappointed in quality overall. Room was dark and dreary, towels were thin and crunchy (not soft) as was the bathroom paper products. Shower did not drain well. The room was not nearly as nice at the outside of the building. Looks can be deceiving. For $200/night I expected much more! (I... more

I always consult tripadvisor.com to read reviews before booking. This time, however, the reviews were bizarrly inaccurate. This place is a dump with a capital D. The room was cramped with far too much (ugly) furniture. The windows were strange and small. The bedding was 2 sizes too small! (Not kidding - they were actually using double size flat sheets... more
