The Sheraton is a good call if you are looking to stay in downtown Sacramento. You can easily walk to a number of good restaurants. I got a great rate on Priceline, so that is the way to go. The room was nice, nothing real special. Nice flat screen TV. The bathroom was very small and not very luxurious. more

The Sheraton Grand is clearly a hotel that caters to the business set during the week. On the weekends, they offer great rates and above average accommodations and welcome dogs. The rooms are nicely done and saved from being too business-y by the window seat. Huge windows with nice views, chairs are comfortable and the bedding is great - solid... more

We recently stayed at The Sheraton Grand the night of Aug. 4th on a trip back from Lake Tahoe, en route back to Texas. I booked it using Starwood points and didn't have high expectations. However, my boyfriend and I thought that it turned out to be a great hotel. Here are the pros and cons: PROS 1. Very stylish... more

We're at the end of our Los Angeles/Vancouver/Los Angeles road trip and this is our final hotel night in a week of travel. This hotel is centrally located on "J" Street, within walking distance of old Sacramento and several restaurants if you don't feel like eating in the hotel. This is a massive high rise property designed with the incentive/convention... more

The family and I just returned from a weekend stay in Sacramento at the Grand Sheraton. The hotel is in a great location if you want or need to stay near the capitol or the convention center. We were here on weekend get-away after a few days in Lake Tahoe. The hotel is very quiet on the weekends so I... more

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times but I've never before experienced the smooth check-in and check-out as I did this week. Those who took my car, my luggage and registered me were Ritz Carlton type quality. Given its proximity to the Capitol, and the often-mediocre nearby Grand Hyatt (sorry Governator), Sheraton is beyond average. I would not recommend eating... more

This hotel is only minute walk away from the convention center. I stayed there while attending the Key Club Convention in 2008, and the staff remained unannoyed with five thousand screaming kids. It was a wonderful experience, the hotel lobby is beautiful and has a delicious menu that allows you to sit in one of the lobby tables and be... more

This is a very comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. Downtown location means that it isn't cheap but you get what you pay for. A welcome retreat during a stressful business trip. Good location within easy walk of many local attractions. Great views from the upper floor rooms. more

The hotel was clean and well located. However, that's about all that was positive about this hotel. You have to pay for parking, which was $15 per night, per car. There is no hot tub. We ordered room service our first night there, and my husband went to get a soda out of the vending machine down the hall. It... more
