Stayed at the Pacific Grove in during the busiest weekend of the year in Monterey, MotoGP Weekend. The rooms were impeccably clean, had a great, strong shower and best of all: quiet. The Pacific Grove Inn is a lovely, charming Victorian B & B just minutes away from Lighthouse Avenue with all its restaurants and shops and the coast. We stayed here 2 nights and wished we had booked more. The facility is clean and charming. The staff gets 10 stars for hospitality. Very friendly but not intrusive. Stayed here as a belated Mother's Day Gift from my daughter...Had a wonderful time...The rooms were spotless, the fireplace was wonderful, soft confy bed, lots of chanels on the 'TV, had a small balcony with an ocean view! We had such a good time love the area, it was nice to be in a cozy home, that served nice breakfast. Everyone was so friendly and nice. We may be back this summer and will stay here again. more

Stayed at the PG Inn, Tuttle Daughter's Suite. The ambience, service and extra touches were great. The staff was very helpful, offering brochures on area attractions and restaurants. We chose Max's Grill which was within walking distance, the surf and turf was superb. We'll definitely be back. more

Our stay at the PG Inn was a lovely experience. The staff is really friendly & was very helpful. I dont know why some ppl have said that the staff is rude etc. Yes they are a bit strict on the check in & check out times which caused us a bit of a problem, but that was my problem.... more
