Having stayed three times previously in the three different Anaheim hotels, the Ayers was a real little gem. Very poor ventilatioon in the bathroom. It's an old property, there was no fan in the bathroom for the room we stayed! After someone used the bathroom, the smell stayed forever, because they had nowhere to go. Can't really open windows in the room. If you leave the bathroom door open, the whole room would smell! more

Nice property and "cozy" hotel feeling but if you are traveling with a family be warned: the bathroom only has room for ONE person and that person has to be standing to close the door. Cruise ships have bigger bathrooms than this facility.... Which creates a problem when everybody is getting ready to head out the door for a day... more

We arrived on a Thursday for a trip to Disneyland, Universal Studios and Six Flags. Hotel was in a great location, just off the freeway. Lots of nearby shopping and dining. Definitely a clean, well maintained property. Best thing is the staff which is friendly and helpful. Room rates are reasonable and location is good. Only slight negative is the bathroom is relatively small. more
